Walter, our trusty driver

While in Congo, we were transported in a Land Rover on loan from the charity, Caritas. Walter was our driver and served us wonderfully. To be a driver in the third world, it is not enough to be skilled at handling the vehicle. It is also necessary to be a skilful mechanic - there are no call out rescue services

Homes for refugee families

Lubumbashi had an influx of about 20,000 refugees but, in just a couple of years, it has housed nearly all of them. This picture is in a suburb showing recently built houses
