Walter, our trusty driverWhile in Congo, we were transported in a Land Rover on loan from the charity, Caritas. Walter was our driver and served us wonderfully. To be a driver in the third world, it is not enough to be skilled at handling the vehicle. It is also necessary to be a skilful mechanic - there are no call out rescue services |

Homes for refugee familiesBecause of the desperate troubles in the north and east of Congo (about 4 million people have been killed over the last few years) a massive number of refugee families have fled to the safer south.
