Mary is raising £10,000 to buy an x-ray machine for the community in Tchamalale, southern Congo, where a school we have helped build is situated. We started the project in 2001 with a donation of £500. Now there are over 1000 pupils at the school (3-18) and a medical centre. Charity number: 1151173. The qualified people who run it have no x-ray machine so the injured have to travel miles to attend a hospital. We have already raised half of the money through our own fundraising.
